supplements-for-fat-lossBodybuilders tend to shy off all the possible traces of fat. They want lean muscles and not just muscles that are barely visible because of the thick fat padding around them. Well, that explains why whole milk is an endangered if not entirely extinct feature in a bodybuilder’s grocery list. The danger of doing this is that despite doing it with all the right intentions, you will do your body more harm than good. If it looks much leaner then it is probably because of the many deficiencies which you are experiencing. There are two categories of vitamins and minerals based on the medium through which they are both transported and absorbed. These two categories are water soluble and fat soluble vitamins and minerals. Because of how evasive bodybuilders are when it comes to fats, I will dwell on the fat soluble vitamins.

Bodybuilding SupplementsVitamins in the body serve many roles including prevention from infection and regulation of hormonal balances to ensure a perfect performance of the body system. This is why it should be in the body builder’s mind that, the vitamins have to be included among others in the body building diet. Without the vitamins, the body becomes sour and the body becomes prone to infections to the extent that, one has to quit the body building field. There are very many ways of obtaining vitamins and this can be through the diet or as supplements in the routine. These vitamins are of different types and they serve different purposes.

There are very many essential nutrients required when body building. But there is always a need to balance all the nutrients and provide them in sufficient amounts for the body to develop muscles. However, excessive intake of everything is not preferable since it serves to the disadvantage of the body builder. As the saying goes ‘too much of everything is poisonous’ and that is still the same principle used in body building. Proteins in the body are very essential in building the muscles as well as necessitating the repair of worn out tissues. But when it is in excess, the protein turns out disastrous for the body builder’s health.

Proteins are to body builders what oxygen is to life forms. They are as essential to the body as the sun is to sustain life on earth. Proteins are body builders and are essential for the building of muscle tissue; important to every body builder and athlete. It is advised that your food intake should range between 5-8 meals a day with each meal containing lean protein and some complex carbohydrate.

Q: I'm a big fan of circuit training ever since my last contest. I know it's not for every day of every week throughout the year, but it's great for burning glycogen and fat, fast because it's so isolative! But tell me, what do you guys think about doing it throughout the entire year, every other week or so?
