4 Training Tips To Help You Build Muscle
By Dane C. Fletcher

Are you ready to get ripped? Sure you are. We all want solid muscle tone, but there seems to be many experts out there saying conflicting things. Unless you want to spend all your time reading science journals and doing your own tests, follow these tried and true build muscle tips.

1. Find the right gym. Sounds important, right? Look, you don’t have to pay lots of money to get into the gym with the latest equipment. That’s not what will build muscle. What builds muscle is motivation and knowledge. You might find both of those things at the slightly run down gym that’s been around the corner for 30 years. What’s important is to find a place where you will go as often as you need to, and that also has people you can turn to if you get stuck.

2. Besides the gym, the next most important place for someone who wants to build muscle is probably the kitchen. You need to eat right to fuel your muscles and allow them to rebuild and grow. Start out by eating the right foods, which include leafy vegetables and lean meat. Don’t jump into taking supplements right away. Make sure you are eating right to begin with. Some people think taking supplements means they can eat junk food the rest of the time. It’s okay to have some junk food every now and again, but don’t make it a habit.

3. Make sure you switch things up. You can circuit train and use free weights, but not the same day. And break up your workout, so you’re doing arms and abs on one day, chest and legs on a different day, and shoulder and cardiovascular on yet another day. This gives your muscles time to rebuild, and it keeps you from getting too bored with your workout.

4. Get enough rest. Lots of time people are in a hurry to build muscle, but you don’t have to be. It will happen. It is important that you don’t burn yourself out in the meantime. If you feel burnout coming on, take a break from your workouts and get a massage or go for a swim. If you can avoid burn out, you will definitely build muscle and get the body you are looking for.
