pmXfit – The Ultimate Training System!
You’re down on your luck. Your job has ended and you are scrambling to find an income and secure new employment. You know this is a stressful time, but it is a time which can actually be improved through the use of bodybuilding – which you can do for very little money. Let’s check out a few tips for building muscle without a job!
Apply at your gym
You’ve got nothing to lose. Put your bodybuilding training expertise to the test, and enjoy free supplements and gym memberships while you’re at it! You’ll be training more than ever, and making muscle gains to boot!
Train at the YMCA
You can train for just a few dollars per month at your local YMCA. You may also meet new people here and learn more about job opportunities which are out there. Gym networking should never be overlooked!
Buy food in bulk
As always, you should plan meals ahead, buy in bulk, and avoid spending money unnecessarily when you don’t have it. Your only dining should involve dollar menu chicken strips and buffets which allow you to get a weeks’ worth of protein in one sitting! Get your money’s worth – those $25 steak dinners will have to wait until you have a steady paycheck again.
Use the extra time for extra growth
Lift more hours. Train longer and harder. Take more nap. The silver lining to being “between jobs” is that you now have more time to do the things in life that you truly enjoy – like bodybuilding!
Get a tan
You’ve got the time, and everyone knows that muscle looks better when it’s golden brown. Spend a little time in the sun, but don’t go overboard. Skin cancer is very dangerous and you probably don’t have health insurance at the moment!
Avoid the stress
The stress hormone known as cortisol rises – eating away at your muscle and contributing to fat gain – when you indulge in stress. Don’t let the lack of a steady income get you down. Use the gym to blow off the negative stress steam, then with your refreshed attitude you’ll be ready to take on the world!
Get an education
Many people believe the mantra that you work when the economy is good, and you go back to school (and improve your skill set) when the economy is bad. If you choose to subscribe to this belief, then you should use this time to go back to school! Get a student loan, use the free University gym, and make the most of the “All you can eat for $7” buffet that many cafeterias will offer!
Job hunting = cardio!
You’re on your feet when you do cardio, and you’re on your feet when looking for a job. So put them together! Visit job fairs, strip malls, and everything in between. Keep a few copies of your resume, and hit the ground running. You may just stumble into your next job opportunity while completing your daily cardio!
