If you have ever gone on those fad diets you will agree with me just how difficult it is to lose weight. I once tried going on diet without taking any form of protein and little carbohydrates. My diet comprised mostly of vegetables and very low calorie foods. The end result after one month was so devastating that I almost ended up quitting my goal to lose weight. As soon as I started going on this diet I noticed that my body strength began to deteriorate. I could not even manage to lift heavy weights as I used to and in the end my training intensity in the gym was also affected.

If you want to lose weight you have to put aside the whole idea of going on a diet because it will not work. In fact you will end up putting on more weight because your lean body muscles will be compromised when the body is in starvation mode as a result of these diets. For you to be able to lose weight there are a few tricks which if you are patient enough will help you in your goal. They include the following;

1. Fast walking exercises

Fats walking exercises are a form of aerobic exercises. They are the best cardiovascular exercise because you don’t require the assistance of any aerobic instructor to explain to you how they should be performed.

This technique is also quite simple even for beginners since all you need to do is start walking fast. Aerobic exercises are quite helpful when it comes to losing fat. Not only are they useful in losing fat but they can also improve a persons health.

2. Increase your rate of metabolism

Metabolism plays a very major role in helping you attain fat loses. This is because an increase in metabolism leads to lose of more fat. If you want to increase your metabolism you need to work on your lean body muscles. Isolation exercises do not yield better results than compound movements. This is because isolation movements only exercise one set of muscles but compound movements will work various muscles at the same time.

Do some intense training which should involve techniques such as compound movements and also progressive resistance training in your training regimen.

3. Concentrate on your lean muscles

Lean muscles will help you achieve fast weight lose and therefore weight training is just as important as aerobics. A lot of people make a mistake of concentrating a lot in aerobics and assume the importance of weight training. Remember that without weight training you can not gain lean muscles.

4. Take a low calorie diet

Your diet should contain lower calories but not so low that the body goes into starvation mode. Using your weight you should be able to deduce the amount of calories you need to reduce. A fitness expert can assist you with these calculations.
