Aerobic exercises are very useful for people who want to lose weight. This is because it leads to the increase in body metabolism which leads to the burning of more calories. This form of exercise will help you increase your longevity and at the same time make you healthier. Aerobic exercise are useful to the body in the following ways ; improves bone calcium, improves high density blood cholesterol, improves handling of excess heat, increases a persons hemoglobin, improves your resistance to cold, it gives you an emotional lift, it decreases your blood pressure, it also decreases your insulin requirements, it increases glycogen storage, it decreases the conversion of sugar to fat, it increases stroke volume of the heart, it decreases resting heart rate, it reduces chances of becoming senile since there is an increase of oxygen delivery to the brain, it increases oxygen pick up in the lungs, it also increases fat burning enzymes, it also help you control your hunger, it leads to a decrease in body fat, it decreases stress, increases your level of endurance or aerobic threshold , it leads to the burning of more calories, it reduces the incidence of hypoglycemia, it lowers the muscles dependency on sugar.
There are very many types of aerobic exercises which include; jogging, walking, cycling, taking step classes, walking the treadmill, and swimming. Of all this examples the easiest is walking. The reason is because almost everyone has walking experience since childhood; therefore you do not need extra coaching to perfect the art of walking. The other reason why walking is the best aerobic exercises is because not only is it easy but you do not need any special equipment to perform this type of aerobic exercise as is the case with the treadmill.
