There has been a sudden craze in the past few years about bodybuilding which has drawn the attention of both business men and scholars. Good business men know how to smell an opportunity when they see it, and for those business men who ventured into the fitness industry early they have been able to earn millions of dollars.
Various scholars have also written many articles about bodybuilding and in all there research there are some things relating to bodybuilding which are common in all of there publications.

A lot of people fail to prosper in there bodybuilding career simply because they have not yet prepared themselves psychologically. Achieving a complete body transformation can be very difficult sometimes especially if you are using natural methods as opposed to steroids which are accompanied by various side effects. Building body mass can be very easy as long as you are equipped with the right techniques to building body mass. However if you are not aware of this techniques you could waste a lot of time in the gym without being able to realize your objective.
Once you have been able to prepare yourself psychologically the next step involves following the techniques below which have worked for many body builders;
1. Do some intense weight training.
Body builders need to ensure that they train intensely the moments they hit the gym. The gym should be a chamber of torture so to say and therefore you should ensure you still enough pain in your muscles for them to grow and remember no pain no gain.
Intense training for building huge body mass should involve using heavy weights with little repetitions as opposed to using light weights with high repetitions. When you train using heavy weighs you will be able to force the muscles to reach muscle overload quickly and therefore you won’t need to spend much time in the gym. Only when the muscles reach muscle overload can they be able to grow since they at this point they have been broken down completely.
However for those people who are only interested in gaining lean muscles then they should stick to using light weights with fewer repetitions.
2. Take your calories
The best sources of calories are proteins and carbohydrates. Calories are what fuel the body to enable a person to train intensely in the gym. For you to increase body mass you need to ensure that the training you undertake while in the gym is so intense so that you can be able to achieve muscle overload. Proteins are the building blocks of muscles and hence very important in facilitating the muscles growth process. Proteins aid in this process because without proteins the muscles will not be able to repair themselves after being damaged due to the intense training.
Carbohydrates are another good source of calories and also glycogen. Glycogens are very important in helping a person to be able to train intensely.
3. Rest
The other thing you need to do to facilitate the muscle growing process is to ensure that you get plenty of rest. This is because your muscles require rest so that they can repair themselves.
