pmXfit – The Ultimate Training System!
Like most of life’s processes, fiction or non-fiction, there are bodybuilding books out there that bear testimony to those that have been there and done that and would like to share the tricks of the trade. From self-help books to supplements found in various health and fitness magazines, one cannot miss a book that will unlock their bodybuilding potential. Arnold Schwarzenegger, the world’s most known strong man and bodybuilder has quite a number of books which are best sellers, no prizes for guessing why. Some of the top books recommended by experts include Starting Strength (Mark Rippetoe and Lon Kilgore, 2005). This book mostly focuses on training using weights for all ages. This would definitely be a good starting point so one can know what equipment to use in their bodybuilding quest.
Another book is interestingly titled ‘Weight Training for Dummies’ (Liz Neporent and Suzanne Schlosberg, 2006). This book even goes a step further to have illustrations of the step-by-step training sessions. The world’s favorite bodybuilder (Schwarzenegger) has written a book with the title ‘Arnold’s Bodybuilding for Men’. This book can definitely be the aspiring bodybuilder’s bible because the king himself has written it. Anything that he did to gain that muscled form will definitely gain a following from readers of this title. Another book that he has written is known as ‘The New Encyclopedia of Modern Training’. Co-written with another author, Bill Dobbins, in 1987 and then in 1999, this book contains images of Schwarzenegger’s bodybuilding career and instructions and bodybuilding tips. This is a book for a more advanced reader who already has dabbled in bodybuilding.
For the female fraternity of this sport, there is a book titled ‘Strength Training for Women’ (Joan Pagano, 2005). The author herself is a well-known trainer who uses small equipment and general body exercise for weight training. In terms of the perfect bodybuilding menu, there is ‘The Bodybuilder’s Nutrition Book’ written by Dr. Frank Columbu. This book has been given positive reviews by they that use this as part of their bodybuilding quest. It entails what kinds of foods you should eat to build your muscle mass and to keep healthy. Books may not necessarily be a fun way to find out more about bodybuilding for most people but if one would like to achieve the beast results based on expert opinion, then they are definitely the ways to go to ensure a minimal margin of error AND ignorance.
