Very many people have been unable to realize love of self no matter how many self help books they have read. Let’s face it you can not be able to feel good about yourself if you do not like the way you look. If you are overweight then the only thing you need to do, so that you feel good about yourself is to lose weight. There have been various articles posted on the net and magazines which offer guidelines on the proper way to lose weight. The problem with the solutions offered on these articles is that they are always contradicting with each other that it becomes difficult to make a decision. Through undertaking various researches on ways to lose weight I have been able to come up with the best routine which I can guarantee will help you lose weight.
There are many people who have been struggling with the issue of losing weight. The major reason why they have not been successful with losing weight is because the have been following the wrong methods and techniques. A lot of fitness experts sing from the same hymn book that proposes the use of fad diets to lose weight. Not only is this wrong but it is preposterous. Take this note down, losing weight has no relation whatsoever with going on this missionary diets. Why am I saying this? This is because when you are on this fad diets your body will go into starvation mode because of the reduction in calorie intake. When the body is experiencing catabolic state it breaks down the stored substances in the body so that it produces energy. When it does this your muscles tissues are also broken down together with fat in the process. The reduction in muscle tissues is not good because it will lead to a low body metabolism. This is not good because you will end up gaining weight as a result of low metabolism. It is very critical that you maintain high metabolism in order to burn more calories in the body.
In order to lose weight you need to;
1. Perform short and intense aerobic sessions
When you perform long aerobic exercise you promote catabolism. When the body is experiencing catabolic state it breaks down the stored substances in the body so that it produces energy. When it does this your muscles tissues are also broken down together with fat in the process. Therefore to avoid the loss of muscle tissues you need to do high intensity but short cardio sessions. You also need to incorporate proteins and glutamine supplements between the workout sessions because they have anti-catabolic effects.
2. Weight train
Weight training is the only form of exercise which leads to increase in lean muscle tissues. An increase in lean muscles leads to an increase in body metabolism. Metabolism leads to the burning up of calories and therefore you need to ensure that you maintain a high body metabolism.
3. Eat sufficient calories
By sufficient I mean do not overdo your calorie intake. This is because when you have excess calories in your system the will be converted and stored as fat. The net result will be an increase in weight.
