pmXfit – The Ultimate Training System!
When I first started training one of the challenges I met along the way was staying focused with my training. I would start out with a lot of morale but somewhere a long the way my motivation would get so low that at times I almost ended up quitting. Today I am very glad that I did not quit cause if I did I would not have a gotten a wonderful physique which I am very proud of.
I hope that the information I will share with you in this article will be of benefit to you as it sure was beneficial for me. You want to develop a mind set for training then below are the few things you need to observe;
1. Be constantly aware and wary of your workout objectives.
The number one reason why a lot of people don’t train for long and they end up quitting altogether is their lack of honesty with the self. For you to succeed in anything, be it in the gym or outside the gym you need to be honest with yourself. Take time and think or meditate on the number one or basic reason why you want to start going to the gym.
This will provide you with a motivating factor, and you can always draw from this well anytime you feel your motivation is dwindling.
2. Visualise with the mind
If you want to succeed in anything both in and out of the gym you have to see it first in your mind. To do this you only need to close your mind and imagine how you would like your physique to look like in the near future. Even if you want to look like Mr. Universe it is very possible so long as you are able to see it in your mind.
Visualizing something involves three essential steps;
Desire:
For you to achieve something you must be willing to do anything in order to get it. This is what we refer to as desiring something.
Discipline:
Discipline is what will determine whether you will succeed in getting what you desire. In weight lifting discipline involves simple things like, avoiding alcohol on a Friday night, following strictly your training routine by this I mean observing punctuality and the number of sets and reps you are supposed to perform each day, following strictly the fundamentals of body building.
Action:
This involves taking the appropriate action which will lead you to what you desire. If you desire to get a good physique then you should start hitting the gym regularly.
3. Remember what motivates you
A very simple way to memorize what motivates you is by putting it down on paper and sticking it in front of a mirror so that you can be able to see it every time you wake up in the morning to rush of to work.
Once this sticks in your mind, you will realize that your level of motivation will be off the charts.
