pmXfit – The Ultimate Training System!
While working on those six-pack abs, there is one rationale that makes perfect sense – to avoid wine. Wine and alcohol in general have become part of society gatherings and is as common as our daily routines.
Wine drinking will have an impact on your body. Ethyl alcohol produces seven calories per gram and while alcohol itself provides energy, the levels are increased. Alcohol supplies empty calories or calories that hold no actual nutrition. This absence of caloric intake actually gets worse when mixed with the good nutrients our body uses, such as carbs, proteins and fats. The body will use up the empty calories before consuming the nutrients that our body needs. Due to this process, the fat-burning action will be held off but replaced with fat storage instead.
Alcohol does not stop the weight loss, but will postpone it. Any intake of alcoholic beverages can cause problems for those wanting to lose the fat cells and build up muscle. Alcoholic products supply almost two times as many calories as does protein and carbs. Hastening fat storage, alcohol contains only two fewer calories than fat, which is at nine per gram.
Calories that are found in an average drink are concentrated in comparison to foods and this leads to a higher consumption than would be taken in when eating. Deception for the system, alcohol passes through the body quickly, before the body is aware of the amount consumed.
Various cocktails can also contain higher levels of fat. Beer and wine both have higher carb content, while certain cocktails can lead to a higher intake of fat due to a larger fat amount in the drink. Carbs release insulin, which can also quicken the storage of fat in the body. The whole concept is self-defeating, as the alcoholic content in any drink creates a fat storage activity in the body.
The relaxation drinkers feel from wine, beer and other alcoholic beverages makes them unaware of how much they are drinking, thus adding to the fat intake. More calories are consumed unknowingly, especially when under the relaxed state of mind, drinkers tend to also consume food without thinking of what they are taking into their bodies.
Being a by-product of yeast, alcohol can irritate the lining of the stomach. Kidneys and liver functions are affected by the alcoholic intake as well, leading to serious health problems and in the worst-case scenario, death. Maintain a healthy body and condition while working out to build your muscle – avoid alcoholic beverages for the ultimate in healthy living.
