These increase the benefits of supplements which are egg white based. The supplements are sold in various forms such as powders and liquids. Supplements also meant to suit people who dislike the taste of eggs yet they need the high quality protein found in eggs.

Is a raw egg richer in protein than a cooked one? The human body cannot digest a raw egg properly. This is because a raw egg white contains an enzyme called Avidin which prevents the absorption of Biotin. Absence of Biotin leads to vitamin B6 deficiency. In order to facilitate the absorption of biotin into the body, the egg-white will then need to be cooked in order to break down Avidin
