There are various methods you can use in order to build body mass. One such method is through using steroids. However I do not recommend this method because it has two disadvantages. One disadvantage of this method is that you do not get to enjoy the psychological fulfillment of knowing that it is your hard work and determination which made you get good results. This method will not help you develop your character which is usually the case when you train naturally without any enhancement pills. When you train naturally you will be able to acquire virtues such as hard work, patience and determination which are very important for any human being. Such virtues will help you succeed in many areas of your life including your career.
When you take steroids you will also suffer the consequences of its side effects which include; enlargement of the clitoris, shrinking testicles, low libido, low sperm count, impotence in men, loss of hair, growth of facial hair in women, coarse voice in women, irregularity in there menstrual cycle, increase in aggression, heart problems, liver conditions, kidney problems and sleeping disorders.
Therefore in order to increase your body mass you need to apply the four principles below;
1. Use the correct training technique and form
The training regimen you use needs to be tailor made for you and not for any one else. This is because we are very different in terms of genes and body building goals. Therefore do not try and copy the training regimen of another bodybuilder. In order to come up with your own training regimen you need to consult a fitness expert if you are a novice bodybuilder. If you are a bodybuilder who is experienced then all you need to do is carefully examine your goals and decide on the training regimen which will help you achieve your goal.
2. Pay adequate attention to your body parts
It should be one of your priorities to be examining all of your body parts in the mirror so that you are able to know which ones need extra attention. This will help you maintain proper body symmetry of the upper and lower body. You need to employ training routines which will enable you exercise all of your body muscles at the same time. One such technique is the use of compound movements in your training.
3. Avoid gym injuries
One of the reason why many people fail in there attempt to increase body mass is due to gym injuries. Therefore your first priority should be to reduce gym injuries since they could affect adversely your bodybuilding career. The best way to avoid gym injures is through observing proper form training when training. You also need to warm up both prior and after each workout. You should also perform stretching exercises before lifting heavy weights so that you can be able to increase your flexibility.
4. Listen to your body
This will help you know in advance whether you are experiencing muscle injury or it’s simply a muscle burn. Such knowledge will help you know your training limits.
