Not only should your fridge be stocked with certain types of foods, these foods should be stoked in large quantities. Taking 8 times is no joke even if these meals are taken in smaller quantities. This is sure to bring a large dent in your wallet but it’s better than having a dent in your heath and your looks. Doesn’t the good old saying remind us that health is wealth?
On the top of this must-have list is beverages, the best of which is water. In deed, water is the best antidote for all forms of poisoning. I am saying poisoning because eating some of those types of food that you have been eating amounts to poison as long as the bodybuilder is concerned. Make sure that your water is clean by boiling it . it is necessary because it is quite a saddening thing having to abandon your gym workouts to make a date with a doctor and discuss diarrhoea, your diarrhoea, with him.
Every activity in our bodies has to take place in the medium of water. Drinking 16 glasses of nothing but water in one day is plain boring if you aren’t used to it. Why, then don’t you try out on something like tea or coffee? If you are a fan of these caffeine- armed substances you must be thanking your star that the have survived the test of bodybuilder’s diet and that you will be drinking as much of it as your body can hold. Hold on. 2 cups in a day is my suggestion. If you really must take more than that, 3 is the highest limit.
Protein is very crucial for all the bodybuilders out there. Go for chicken breast give first preference to either the ones which have been bred using the free- range style or if they have to be the other types, make sure they have been feeing on cereals and not manufactured animal feeds. The chicken, or in deed any other food type that needs cooking should be best if some cooking spray is added. Among the available brands, the best ones are those whose main ingredient is olive oil.
Your fridge is not fully stocked until you have included cheese. Due to fat fears, choose the strongest taste. The strong taste most often goes hand in hand with higher protein content and fatty acids which are of better quality. Alternatively, you may go for an assortment of different types in a bid to try and spread the risks. Fried fruits will give your muscles a major boost without having to worry about the guilt which engulfs the steroid users. Care should be taken not to eat so many dried fruits. They contain higher than average fats and this is why some caution is necessary. Balancing with green vegetables is the best way to bring a balance that is easy to strike.
Red meat and eggs are a hot favorite among bodybuilders. Red meat is the best priority while omega 3 variety of eggs is better than the ordinary ones. Variety is an important factor and you need not worry if you always find yourself going for the delicious omelette.
