Most people who are just getting into muscle building simply go to the gym and just start lifting weights in a very sporadic manner. What they don’t realize is that if you do not have any consistency in your weight training program then you will never see results. You need a targeted routine that affects certain muscles and muscle groups in a very well planned and carefully executed Regiment. However, you must also choose a workout program that you can continuously follow, because if you cannot be consistent you will not see clear results.

First of all, I will get into the full body workout, which is basically meant for beginners. The full body workout is meant for those who are trying to do their lifting or working out simply for strength gains. Usually you will do a full body workout three sessions a week divided throughout the week and the targeted muscle groups with a high-frequency, enabling you to see. Very fast results, however it should be noted that doing a full body workout requires a wholesome diet, giving you the capacity for quick muscle recovery.

Next up is the upper or lower split workout. This workout you should do for four sessions a week with a single day of rest after today’s exercise. The first day will be a upper body workout, so you’ll start out doing bicep work and pectorals. Then, on your second day you will start to work on your lower body, such as Calves. Since you will be spending five days in the gym. This is one that is mainly for those that can frequently visit the gym as well as having decent muscle recovery. As you will be using them quite frequently.

Lastly, the body part split type of training is the method in which every single session is again a focus on different parts of your body. This program involves a single day’s training for the chest and each day thereafter is for back, shoulders/neck, legs, and finally your arms. This is considered an outdated workout, hardly anyone recommends it anymore and very few actually attempt it.

My recommendation on which weight training workout programs you should try are to do the full body then mix in the upper lower split every few weeks to keep your muscle guessing. Then possibly if you are feeling adventurous throw in some body part split type.
