Exercise has always been the favorite drug that clings in the doctor’s tongue when addressing any health condition. Exercise is important in a healthy body, put ironical enough people get tired of it and prefer a ‘bit’ of alcohol or caffeine to evade the ‘tiresome’ thought. But I bet you will want to listen at least for once before you completely destroy your life.
If you think exercising is hard, it’s because you haven’t yet found out workout programs that are fun yet promises to leave you fit. You don’t have to head down to the dumb all sweaty local gym to accomplish this; you can turn your house into a state-of-the art personal gym. Home workout programs are simple yet convenient at your own private setting. While at home you can warm up using the stairs; hey I am not saying you slide down the arm. Running with small steps up and down the stairs is a great endeavor unmatched not even by running up a mountain. Your jumping rope comes in handy too; use it in the backyard, begin by counting the number of jumps you do per day and make sure each day you improve on them.
Remember to always warm up and stretch before getting into serious exercises, it prevents injuries associated with muscle pulls. 10 minutes warm up should be a nice poke to kick start your workout program. Home cardio exercises can come second; walking up and down the yard, running around the house, riding your bike as you enjoy the expanse, and cleaning up the garden are some little exercises that will save you from the doctor’s face. When exercise fetches your interest, you can invest in exercising equipments. For instance, for the upper body you will need a triceps extension, shoulder press, chest press, bicep curls and for lower body squats, calf raises and lunges will definitely tone your body.
After all why do I have to do this, whilst I should be somewhere enjoying a cold beer? A workout program will help you evade small ailments that are common in the middle age. Such ailments include joint pains, heart problems and diabetes which if hereditary can be postponed to an advanced age. Problems of obesity, in this world of junky food are given a red light too. Ask an overweight whether it is nice to be that way, and you won’t miss a blow on the chin. In short, it is never too late to start a workout program, besides it doesn’t hurt to be fit at an old yet to come age. Does it?
