You have to know that the unspoken rule in bodybuilding is that ‘less is more’. Why should this be the case? It is simply so because the body secretes hormones for the best part of an hour to an hour and a half. This should also be the average time that you should spend in the gym. Going beyond this point is ineffective since no more supporting hormones will be available to you. You should stop training and start getting some rest because this is the only time that the body will get to recover and regroup. This is the time that the inputted effort is translated into muscle growth and gain.
