Modern lives are basically a series of to-do lists, commitments and diary entries. From the few hours spent in the bed, an ordinally person today sets of to meet family obligations, career targets, social expectations, personal ambitions and religious duties. As the child cries for attention from the right side, a phone is ringing from the left hand, the spouse is calling from the rear and the laptop is blinking from the front. Telling such a person to set aside an hour daily for physical exercises let alone body building, is like an abuse. Even if they can get that hour, they would occupy it with something termed more important than jumping a rope or peddling a stationary bicycle.
And this where sound reasoning ought to begin. For example what else is more important to any individual than his or her own body health? To be able to create time for body building exercises, the first requirement is always the realization that nothing else is as important to life as health, and that that health is endangered without exercises. When one realizes that without body health the career, the ambition, the marriage and even the children are lost, then he or she settles down to consider how he or she can create time for exercises amid the busy schedules and deadlines. Actually, experts postulate that a healthy person who creates time for physical exercises is more productive in the day to day activities. Body building exercises when allocated time in the busy day help power and make more effective the performance of a person in the other crucial duties.
After realizing the importance of exercises the next stage is to note down meticulously all activities engaged in during ordinary days. Each task should be listed and allocated the approximate time it requires or takes. These should in fact include all the mundane tasks as brushing the teeth and shaving. After that the person should highlight and then add all small spaces left in between the major tasks of each day. When added up, these can yield hours of wasted time usually in between core tasks. All the time wasted waiting for the office to open, walking up and down the supermarket and even gossiping with colleagues should be added up to a total of wasted time. This total will surprise even the most active and busy people because, as research has established, the wasted time totals up to very many hours in a week.
To the wasted time total, the person should add all tasks that are not important to him or her and which can be done away with. These leaves the core tasks that must be done each day still listed in the master list. The next step is therefore to arrange them accumulatively so as to ensure no gaps are left in-between them. Doing this will leave a very large gap in the daily allocation of time to duties and responsibilities. When added up to a week’s total the amount of time is really more than can be used at a body building gym. Then this should be reallocated to be distributed in two or three days when a person can visit a local or even a home gym for added time-saving benefits. At the end of this exercise, the individual has adequate time to build on his or her body’s strength, fitness, flexibility and health. That is why, everybody should be a body builder.
