Do not let anyone full you into believing that there are such things such as fast weight lose. If you are on a fad diet which has made you to lose weight fast then you need to come off that diet because it is not healthy. When you start losing weight fast you need to be very afraid because what you are losing is muscles and not fat. For you to lose weight and still retain proper body composition, the parts of your weight you need to lose are fat and not muscles. When you lose body muscles there will be an imbalance between the muscle to fat ratio and that is why a person develops a poor body composition. When the percentage of body muscles deplete you will also lower your body metabolism. When your body metabolism reduces you will not be able to burn a lot of calories.

The only other way you can be able to lose weight fast although it is not healthy is when you start using steroids. The reason why I am saying this method is not healthy is because it will lead to the following side effects; enlargement of the clitoris, shrinking testicles, low libido, low sperm count, impotence in men, loss of hair, growth of facial hair in women, coarse voice in women, irregularity in there menstrual cycle, increase in aggression, heart problems, liver conditions, kidney problems and sleeping disorders. If you want to lose weight and stay healthy avoid the use of steroids.

If you want to lose weight without jeopardizing your health you should avoid the idea of losing weight fast. You need to give the body at least six months or more before you start to notice any visible changes.

As for me it took about six months before I was able to lose 57 pounds and I am going to share with you the strategies I used in order to get these great results.
The training regimen I was own focused on three very important aspects which are; aerobic exercises, weight training and eating a well balanced diet.

You should develop a habit of performing aerobic exercises which should last not less than thirty minutes. You need to be careful when performing aerobic exercises because if you extend the aerobic session for more that thirty minutes then I am afraid you will be promoting catabolism. Aerobic exercises lead to the burning of calories and they also have other health benefits such as enhancing the removal of toxic substances such as lactic acid and carbon dioxide from the body.

The other training regimen you use should involve the lifting of weights. When you lift weights you increase the amount of lean body muscles. This has the effect of increasing your lean metabolism and therefore you end up burning a lot of calories. Bodybuilding leads to an increase in RMR (resting metabolic rate) and therefore you will burn calories even when you are not training.
