If you are a bodybuilder you then you need to understand that the most important part food in your diet are carbohydrates. There are very many theories about carbohydrates that tend to contradict each other and end up confusing the bodybuilder since they do not know just which theories are true.

1. Eat complex carbohydrates
Your daily intake of calories should consist of carbohydrates. This is because carbohydrates contain plenty of glycogen which is the fuel which enables a person to train intensely in the gym. Therefore you need to ensure that your complex carbohydrates come from potatoes, yams, whole grain bread and rice. The reason for taking complex carbohydrates is because is because they contain long chains of sugar and are very effective in helping a person reduce body fatigue. They also help a bodybuilder increase there level of insulin intake.
2. You need to eat fiber
When you eat fibers there are several benefits such as enhancing the response of muscles to anabolism through improving amino acid uptake and also improving the uptake of sugar. There are several good examples of good fiber which include beans and oat meal.
3. Stagger your intake of carbohydrates
You need to divide the carbs meals take into six different servings all through the day. When you spread out your carbohydrates this way you are simply using the saying divide and conquer. The reason why you should not take all your carbohydrates in one meal is because it stimulates your body to produce insulin which is necessary in order for anabolism to take effect.
4. You need to rotate your carbohydrates if you want to lose fat

You could try and vary the volume of your calorie intake. If you are supposed to take 500 calories a day, you could take 500 calorie for two days then the next day you take 300 calories and then you take 500 calories for the next two days and so on and so forth. The good thing about varying your calories is that it enables you to lose fat and at the same time gain muscles.
5. You meal should comprise a mixture of proteins and carbohydrates
When you combine proteins and carbohydrates, the carbs stand a lower risk of being converted and stored as fat. When you combine the two foods you are also able to trigger the transportation of amino acids into the muscles.
6. Avoid taking carbs when you are going to sleep
Those people who have an extremely high metabolism can be able to eat carbs after hours. If your metabolism is normal then you need to refrain from eating carbs when you are about to go to sleep because they will be converted and stored in the body as fat.
