In body building there are a set of rules which one has to follow to ensure that his goals are met. The major goal for any body builder is to acquire a strong and good looking body physique. With this in mind, there are some fundamental principles which one has to follow, failure of which constitutes a misdemeanor.

The first misdemeanor is with regard to the kind of diet a person is eating. Many body builders are unaware of the right kind of food to include in their diet. As a result all there efforts spent in the gym go to waste. No matter how hard or intense you train you can not be able to achieve fast muscle growth if you are on the wrong kind of type. A body builder needs to ensure that he is on a high protein diet. Proteins are very indispensable when it comes to body building because they are the building blocks of muscles. If you are trying to gain muscles without eating proteins, then you might as well build a brick house without any bricks. Simply put you can not do away with proteins when it comes to body building.

The other aspect you need to consider with regards to diet is whether it contains enough calories. A body builder needs to take foods containing high calories and as such vegetables should be very minimal. Fibrous carbohydrates should also be discouraged because the body usually has difficulty when it comes to absorbing fibrous calories.
Simple carbohydrates such as fresh juice have a very rich supply of calories.

The second misdemeanor many body builders make is with regards to the training regimen they are using. This is one of the main reasons as to why many people fail in there body building careers. The training regimen you choose should be tailor made to suite your reason for training in the first place. The best training regimen for a person who intends to acquire lean body muscles should entail lifting light weights with many repetitions. However if you are looking to stuck very large muscles then it is a must that you include very heavy weights with few reps as opposed to light weights with many reps. If you want to acquire very large muscles then you really need to exhaust the muscles so as to achieve great muscle breakdown. The only way to achieve great muscle breakdown is by using very heavy weights.

The third and most common misdemeanor is failure to give the body ample time to rest after a work out session. For your muscles to grow and increase in strength it needs adequate time to recover. Most body builders assume that they can be able to attain muscle growth without rest. This is largely because they have misinterpreted the saying no pain no gain. Failure to give your muscles time to recover might actually cause the body builder to loose the muscles which he had already acquired.

If you are a body builder try and avoid the above misdemeanors and you will improve your chances of succeeding in gaining more muscles.
