In order to build muscle, you must be willing to work hard. This means that when you feel like you can’t get another rep in, you go for another rep. It also means that when you ask yourself if it’s time to stop working out, you workout for another hour. Some people say you don’t need to workout for a long time in order to gain muscle. That’s a bunch of bologna. The more you tear down your muscles, the more they will rebuild.
Have you ever noticed that most construction workers are very strong? This is because they’re working their muscles all day. So, if you want to gain serious muscle mass, you’re going to need to put in the time. That said, it would be wise to follow a good muscle building routine. There are many muscle building routines out there, but we’ll just focus on two of them in this article. They’re the two most effective ways to build muscle fast.
The first muscle building routine we will cover is pyramiding. You can find many pyramiding workouts online. It’s important to look for a routine that matches your goals. For instance, if you’re a baseball player, you should use a pyramiding workout for baseball players. There is one for pretty much every sport or goal you have in mind. In general, pyramiding refers to starting with a lot of reps at a moderate weight and building your way up to only 2 reps of a very heavy weight in your final set. There is usually a total of four sets. By doing this, you will first warm-up your muscles, then focus on muscle endurance, and finally, muscle strength. The warm-up is important to get the blood flowing and the muscles loose. Muscle endurance is important so you will be able to do more reps. Muscle strength is important so you can lift more weight. As you can see, pyramiding covers all bases. If you really work hard, you should see significant results after only 6 to 8 weeks.
Another approach that is commonly used by bodybuilders is supersets. This means that you will do one exercise and then immediately move to another one without taking a break. For example, you would do a set of bench press and then immediately move to flies. You keep rotating exercises until your muscles are exhausted. If you get to that exhaustion point, you’ll know you have made progress. You don’t gain anything in any workout unless you’re feeling the burn in a big way.
While you can certainly gain muscle from hard work alone, you’ll always have a better chance of success if you stick to a plan. This will offer you a path to success and allow you to set goals based on your previous workout’s results. Always change your muscle building routine after six weeks. This will shock your muscles and keep your workouts fresh.
