Powerlifting ExercisesPower lifting is one of the most powerful sports out there. There are many exercises that come into play when you are starting to power lift.

The most important exercise is dieting. If you do not eat right and train your body than you will not be able to perform like you want to. Dieting is basically eating the right foods and making sure that you are drinking a lot of water. Power lifting can be the most dangerous sport that you can do, so you need to be ready. Here is some commonly used exercise that power lifters do. They do exercises like dead lifts, bench presses, and squats.

Bench pressing is basically lifting a certain amount of weights that weigh your lifting amount while on your back. This means that you have to see how much you can actually lift without it falling on you. Please do not strain yourself doing this it can be very painful. You never start bench pressing right away at all. You would want to do some push ups and arm stretches’. Arm stretching is the most important exercise to start bench pressing, because you lift with your arms not your whole body.

Squats are some up and down leg exercise that are very useful. Now if you are already lifting and you can handle weights, you can do squats with some weights on your shoulders. Many power lifters do their squats with weights on their shoulders to make it harder and it also makes them stronger. This exercise can be done without weights too, which is the best way to start for beginners. Al you do is put your legs apart, put your hands on your thighs and move up and down. Try doing at least five reps of ten if you can it is a good workout. Be sure before you start to stretch you legs out, to insure that you do not hurt yourself or pull anything.

There are many ways to get started power lifting. You just have to make sure that you discipline yourself and stick to your dieting. More advice is to go to the gym everyday. Make a week schedule of what you want to accomplish and begin working on that schedule until it is complete then start on another weeks schedule and before you know it you will be power lifting all the way to the pros.
