Many bodybuilders choose to compete just once per year. They will plan their bulking cycle so that they are granted 6 to 8 months of uninterrupted eating and training in order to add some new muscle to their frame. After that very enjoyable period, they will spend several months dieting down, then enter a bodybuilding show to see how well they can do. After the show, they will return to the cave for another year of improvements before returning to the stage. This process works well for many bodybuilders.

Q: I am taking NO-Xplode – for the last 2 weeks or so – and man, I’m getting bloated and getting abdominal pains. What gives?
A: You may be taking in too much to start. Any of the nitrous products can cause discomfort in large amounts. It can take up to 3 weeks to get used to it in your system. Remember, it’s also because of the delivery system. So, scale back on your doses and try eating a little carb with it. I mean like 15 grams – not much. Some guys also put carb drink mix in with NO-Xplode. If you go maximum dose, you can’t go away from the bathroom, so ease up on it and go slowly. Q: What do you guys think about drinking milk? I know a lot of people who get bloated from it and still others who say it will make you fat. Should I drink milk if I want to be big AND lean?
A: Some people are lactose intolerant. These people will have an unpleasant gastro-intestinal reaction to the consumption of milk (stomach cramps, bloating, and diarrhea). Lactose intolerance is caused by lack of a digestive protein called lactase, which is critical for the breakdown of milk sugar (lactose).
