You are an ectomorph. If you suffer from this curse, then you already know the all-too-real effects of it. If you do not, then you can never understand the curse. You are naturally rail-thin, and it seems no matter how hard you try, you are unable to shake it. Your clavicles are closer than those of your mesomorphic (naturally muscular) and endomorphic (naturally fat) counterparts in the gym. Your muscle bellies are small, and your metabolism is high. It’d be just as hard for you to get fat as it would for you to add muscle. When you bulk, that’s usually what happens – you get a little fatter and don’t seem to really add much muscle at all.

Every person wants to have the perfect body, but its important that people also learn how to train according to their body type. People are build with different body types, and can get in shape using specific exercises that will flatter their bodies faster. For simple sleek bodies, simple yoga or a simple jogging might just be what a person needs to shape their bodies and tighten their muscles. The workout routines also depend on how much body mass a person has and how much muscle weigh a person has.

Body building is all about keeping the body fit and adding up mass as well as toning it. This entire process is very important and it helps in having a healthy body and growing gradually in a normal rate. This therefore shows that bodies are different and they have to receive different types of treatments when body building. This close relationship between body building and the several body types is very confusing and might not create any disparity if not closely checked but there must be a variation in the two.

At this point assume that every body knows his body type. My intention is not only to tell you about your body type but also to take you through some of the ways you can use when training based on your body type. And as I have always been stressing on diet, I will also let you know the best diet for you based on your body type. This is because diet goes hand in hand with body building exercise.

Every one of us is put together a little bit differently. Variances in body types, size, shape, muscularity, and torso/limb length allow the sport of bodybuilding to enjoy a wide range of physiques on the bodybuilding stage. Shorter fans tend to root for the little guys like Lee Priest or David Henry, who barely top 5 foot tall, yet pack a ton of muscle. Taller guys (over 6 foot) tend to root for the taller bodybuilders, rooting for the athlete that is also facing their same dilemma of filling out a long narrow frame. Just as we tend to emulate and admire the athletes that look like us, we actually have to train like them as well. Bodybuilders of differing body types, or somatypes, have to train differently in order to find the most success. Here are a few thoughts on each body type – find which one you are, and train accordingly.

Probably one of the most interesting things about bodybuilding is the fact that it can be approached from so many different angles. This is true about training philosophy, and also about individual exercises. Angles are, quite literally, everything. However, oftentimes, when we’ve come to know an activity, we know it in a way that is very singular. That is to say, we know the inroads toward achievement in one particular way. After awhile, we become so accustomed to that one way that we often begin to believe that it’s the only way. In fact, for a great many reasons, we’re eager to keep it familiar. It’s easier to have a customary method for doing things. But as with anything, there’s always more than one way to skin a cat. And sometimes, considering other alternatives and approaches is exactly what’s needed to move forward. Posted in: Training | | Comments Off
