Pre-Contest Sodium Manipulation As the competition date looms closer for competitive bodybuilders, sodium manipulation becomes essential for presenting the driest package possible onstage. Sodium is normally present in the body at very high levels. A balance occurs which allows potassium to be pumped into the body, and the (dietary intaken) sodium to be pumped out. This requires potassium levels to be very high as well. In the two weeks before the show, add salt to every meal. Keep your potassium levels high as well thru supplementation. Many people have the desire to compete though rarely do. Determining why it is important to you to compete helps prepare you for the long road ahead. While competing is beneficial to many it is rare to find one with the drive it takes to compete. As in any sport, competing increases your confidence and forces you to strive for harder goals. Your mission, if you choose to accept it is to lift, scream, and strain your way to the biggest, and most ripped arms imaginable. We’ll warn you ahead of time, building a set of “weapon’s grade” arms is never easy, but you’ve been pre-selected as a reader of HCM to test your will and resolve. When your mission is complete, you’ll have “arms inspectors” everywhere either salivating with desire, or interrogating you for training info. Without any more time wasted, there are a few things you should know before you embark. One piece of information you should file away is that approximately one-third of your upper arm measurement comes from your biceps and two-thirds comes from your triceps. This means that if your upper arm measures 18 inches in circumference, 12 inches are triceps and only six are biceps. You may ask which muscle ...

A deep, dark tan can add the perception of additional muscle mass to the physique.
