The female body builder should also not fall victim to the myth that any cardiovascular exercise is important and sufficient. Women especially like aerobics and cardio. Muscular endurance means a muscle's capacity to work without pause for an extended time period. Developing endurance involves targeting specific types of muscle fibers that have a natural capacity to resist fatigue when being stressed. These slow twitch fibers do not have the high capacity to apply intense force of fast twitch fibers, but they can keep functioning far longer.

Q: I really want to do two training sessions a day, but don't know how to prepare for it since my endurance is really lacking. Even though I'm doing strength and mass gaining workouts, I suspect it's going to kick my ass! What do you guys suggest to get ready for doing that?
