There is a lot of benefit to knowing what you can do in one repetition using maximum levels of weight. You can do this for any body part, but the usual suspects are the squats and bench press. To some extent, deadlifts can figure into that equation, but typically bodybuilders aren't seeking a one rep max value for that lift, largely because it isn't necessary. Powerlifters will want values for all three lifts.
