As a starter, you can begin with light weights which are not very straining and an average of 18-20 repetitions for each set of workout. Full Squats are also among the most used types of exercise for the legs. This involves, moving below in a parallel motion with different and specified sets. Walking Lunges is the third type of exercise for the legs. Many body builders are used to 3 sets of such exercises and different repetitions. These are very difficult exercises to perform since they require a lot of strategic motions and advanced movements. They are mainly used for the upper legs development but still serve for the whole muscle group. A ball can be used for this exercise while it is placed on the foot. This helps in emphasizing the quads and making them developing efficiently. By pressing with the heels, the strain is felt on the muscle group and this is what generates more muscle mass and tone the muscles properly.

No matter the type of exercise, what you need is a perfect way of performing them and a good duration of rest. In cases where one develops an injury, it is important not to assume but ensure that, you have a good approach which will involve proper recovery. With the legs being a very crucial part in the body, know that you will eventually need them for any type of training to be performed.
