Message boards
The top bodybuilding forums are filled with individuals who train and study bodybuilding 24/7, then get together to anonymously share their ideas. Sure, there will be a few jokers and trolls located in the gossip area whose sole mission is to disrupt other and make fun of people. But the specific areas dedicated to training, nutrition, and steroid use can contain some of the best information around the web! On a daily basis, you will see new ideas, situations and other pieces of information come across your screen – then be added to and dissected by people with many years of experience on the matter. And it’ll be entertaining as well, most of the time! Very often, a specific question regarding diet, steroids, or a training injury can be asked on these message boards, and the answers will actually be better researched and more properly analyzed by stranger much better than would be seen by your own physician, rushing in to consult with you for 40 seconds before sending you on your way. People on message boards work together and often develop friendships outside of bodybuilding knowledge exchange as well.

Books
Let’s face it, your local public library probably isn’t going to have too much useful information to offer when it comes to building a plan for improved muscle mass. However, online book stores will! If you are looking or a book on training, nutrition, or detailed breakdowns of steroid dosages and how to spot counterfeits – you can rest assured that there is indeed a book out there for that! And if you’re just looking to be entertained, books can do that as well!

Magazines
Granted, monthly muscle magazines are very often more than 50% advertisements. In this day and age of the internet providing free information online, it may seem weird that anyone would still pay 7 bucks for 70 pages of things they probably already know. However, the truth is that many people are entertained and educated with the small and compact ‘blurbs’ of information that the muscle magazines provide. Not everyone has the time or mental energy to read through hundreds of pages of online information if they’re just looking for a different way to stimulate their pectorals on chest day this week. In these cases, magazines are perfect!

You can find good bodybuilding information anywhere. The key is to be able to determine what pieces of information are useful, absorb those parts which will be most beneficial for your goals, and then apply them to your own training on a daily basis. Don’t try to become an encyclopedia on the topic of building muscle mass. Rather, become a moderately educated user of information who can work hard to improve his or her own situation. Good luck!
