Definitely fats and muscles are two distinct elements in body building. They have major contributions and are affected by some levels of stress in them making them to have a varied relevance in the body building routine. Each of them is quite important though there is a great need to control the way they develop in the body and the way they relate with each other so that you can harmonize them within the body in the process of your training.

When body building, there is a lot of energy required to act in facilitating all the kind of activities which go on in the whole process of body building. This energy is generally obtained from the normal burning of calories and makes someone loose fats after the calories are burnt and bringing fats level into a good level that is essential for the body and relevant in maintaining good health. This is why fats should always be controlled so that they do not exceed the normal levels and the fats are also not less in the body.

For the muscle, they happen to be metabolically active as a tissue and it always takes great work in the maintenance of the same but on the sides of fats, they do not need to be maintained they only sit there get lumped up and accumulate on several parts of the body. The muscles are however not more important than the fats because they also need the fats to act on external shocks of temperature and body strains. Without a doubt, muscles are well outlined and toned only if one has some level of fats lying beneath the muscle.

Muscles contribute to the shape that a body builder wants to have. The muscles outline themselves well and develop simultaneously in the sense that, one has an overlap of the same muscles adding up on each layer and this is what makes the huge, shapely and toned figure in a body builder. The most visible parts are usually the arms, legs and the chest which show an enlargement within a very short period of time but in the real sense, muscles develop in every part of the body.

Muscles are dearly needed because of the movements one makes in the body building routines. When you take a stride, the muscles are involved in that motion and they have to contract for the movement to be made possible. This is what necessitates locomotion and makes working out possible including weight lifting, jogging, running, swimming, breathing and all the natural activities in human beings.

You definitely need fats to act as shock absorbers within the body. These are the situations where temperature and any other shocks heating the muscles need some control and this should be the duty of fats. A deficit in energy in the process of body building will also be covered through a proper burning of fats and therefore fats are relatively important in your body building routine just like you cannot rule out the importance of the muscles acquired in the training.
