pmXfit – The Ultimate Training System!
Bodybuilding is almost always a here and now endeavor. Once a body builder falls into the practice of postponing, then progress is delayed and or delimited. Postponing, otherwise referred to as procrastination is the single greatest cause of stagnation in bodybuilding.
A common area in which procrastination does the greatest harm is increment if training intensity. Most body builders start a training program with motivation zeal and determination. But somewhere along the path towards the attainment of the initial body building goals, most body builders abandon that quest and become complacent to the training routine. Bodybuilding gains can never accrue without progressive intensification of training workload since the body only grows in complete correspondence with the challenge faced during workouts. If the body builder seizes to revise the training intensity upwards, the body thus remains at a particular level without advancing further.
Why do body builders fail to amplify their training intensity if at all they are committed to muscle gains? Simple. They postpone starting out on the new intensity level, day in day out. New exercises are scheduled to start on a perpetual tomorrow, a higher intensity is scheduled to begin on a never arriving tomorrow, the new techniques of training are shelved until a later time that never arrives and the diet requirements are pushed as a future goal. In the final analysis, after years and years of training, the body builder remains at the same level without ever venturing beyond what has already been achieved.
Procrastination is especially rife in dieting regimes. Most people start out on a body building dieting program with resolute determination that they will hold out with absolute discipline until the goals are achieved. As the days go by however, the same body builders falter in the program by omitting some key ingredient of the diet or by eating a forbidden food type. Resolutely, they vow to start the dieting program anew after the falter, only to falter again and again. As such, the dieting program is always and perpetually scheduled to start tomorrow, a tomorrow in which consistency is determined and hoped for.
Many of us also keep on procrastinating the visits to an expert, in search of [professional advice. Sometimes we take up new training techniques that we are not sure about, sometimes we assume some key bodybuilding facets and plan to seek professional advice on them, later. At other times we keep postponing a visits to a physician or physiologists until it’s too late. We either damage our muscles, suffer great accidents or misfortunes in our training programs, just because we postponed the consultation.
Such procrastination ends up ruining, delaying and in extreme cases nullifying progress in a bodybuilding program. Success in bodybuilding only belongs to those few individuals who never sleep until the new resolution is implemented. Millions of ordinary folks usually swear and resolutely decide to start a bodybuilding program, especially as a New Year resolution, only to postpone the commencement of the program until it is time to make yet another New Year resolution. That’s the main difference between body bui8lders and non-body builders; procrastination.
