The fact is, for women’s metabolism, there is always a slow down as the age increases and this is usually experienced when they reach the age of 25 years. The reason for all this can be attributed to a loss of muscles and an increment of fat accumulation within their bodies. But naturally, women’s metabolism has biologically been proven to be slower than that for men. This is because they do have less muscle which can burn the present body fat. For some women, they even have the same diet which they had since their youth and still stick to the old exercise program but weight still begins to add up and this is attributed to the natural changes especially with the physiology and bodily hormones which is concurrent in occurrence.

In layman’s terms the term metabolism is taken to be the rate of the human body in breaking down and using the consumed food therefore ingesting into energy which is used in the growth and development of the body as well as repairing and general functioning of the body. When one experiences a deficit between the different types of foods eaten, and the present bodily demands or requirements it is evident that the body metabolism slows down drastically. Women need a lot of nutrients in their body but they consume less due to loose of appetite brought about by the different biological experiences which affect the. This is why body building is crucial to enable them to improve their appetite and therefore maintain an unhitched body running with continuous growth and development.
It is generally taken to be that for any women, a regiment of her weight training should always involve many and higher repetitions using light to moderate types of weights. Higher repetition in this sense means 15 to 20 while when we talk of light to moderate, it means they take light but enough weights which will not strain them excessively. The form of women in body building is very low due to low levels of muscles and energy and this is why they must learn how to use such light weight before adapting to the heavier ones, it also enables the to complete their range of motion and this is what can be termed as proper body building. Adding weight in this sense can be progressive as one feels the extent of muscle strain and it should always be based on individual decisions not from any other party.
There is always a tendency of women underestimating their food intake and this is where body building must always play a role. When women engage in body building they are forced to develop a plan in terms of their trainings and the diets for either a weekly or daily basis and this is what serves as relevant. It makes them escape the wrath of poor feeding and reduces their chances of compromising what they put in their diets and therefore serve as a discipline measure to safe guard their health status.
