A little rage can be a very good thing.
When you have just failed on a bench press attempt in front of a crowd of disappointed onlookers, you’re angry. And when you get under the bar the next time, you somehow find that extra 5% you were lacking on your last attempt, and you move that bar up. When you were just defeated onstage by a man with poorer conditioning, weaker legs and arms, and a terrible posing routine with only a slightly better back, your anger-fueled workouts come back day are going to lead to some significant improvements in this muscle group. Rage is a heck of a good motivator. When used properly, anger can help us to come much closer to our potential.
Men are already much more aggressive than women. Rage, or the inability to control emotions or act upon urges, is directly related to the levels of testosterone present in the body. Men have naturally higher testosterone levels, so they in turn are going to be much more likely to be angry or violent. Crime statistics show this, with the majority of violent crimes in America committed by men. Additionally, many studies have shown that men in prison have naturally higher levels of testosterone than those on the outside who are imprisoned in cubicles or otherwise domicile existences. That’s right. People with higher T levels tend to choose jobs that allow them to interact with people, drive fast, and break things. Those with lower levels tend to choose office jobs with fewer incidences of interactions with others. Now you should be able to see some direct relationships between testosterone levels and aggressive behavior. And since you may plan on using steroids, an understanding of this relationship becomes even more important. Say it slowly: The more steroids you use, the higher your testosterone levels will become. The higher levels you possess, the more likely you are to be unable to control your emotions.
First-time users need to be aware of the fact that they are very likely to suddenly experience some tremendous internal angst, frustration, elation, and joy that they have not felt before. Emotions run high when steroids are used. Our bodies are most receptive to the side effects of steroids during that very first cycle, which means you are going to be most susceptible to “losing it” every now and then. Prepare yourself. Remove yourself from situations where stress is mounting, and go for a run or spend some time punching a heavy bag. Prepare for the possibility of this outcome by removing as many negative stressors from your life as possible. Remember that the elevated test levels (and associated frustrations and joys) are only temporary, but the ramifications of your actions can be permanent.
Finally, keep in mind that mixing several potent steroids can be a dangerous idea. Synergy works both ways – good and bad. Drugs such as Halotestin are specifically engineered with the goal of increasing aggression for competitive reasons. If you have a tendency to lose control of your emotions, opt for a less powerful drug.
