Avoid dining out in areas where you may tempt yourself to consume the food and beverages that you know should be avoided. Examples include sports bars, fine dining establishments that have your favorite desserts, outdoor barbeques and other environments where you associate fun and excitement with starchy foods that are high in sugar content, alcoholic beverages and rich desserts that scream your name.
